Chair

Sherri Garrett

Vice Chair

Sheri Super grew up in Naperville, Illinois, and has lived in Knoxville for over thirty years. She’s a mom of eight, all of whom attended public schools. Sheri believes the parental rights movement emerged because of COVID-19 school closures and mask mandates. Parents looked to school boards for help and realized how little their voices mattered. At the same time, online classes revealed an alarming school curriculum. “The best thing to come out of the Covid years is a higher rate of parental involvement in their kid’s education.” Sheri believes all students deserve a quality education and that parents have the right to direct the upbringing of their children.

Sherri Garrett is a mom of five great kids. Sheri has been fighting for the rights of parents for years. Whether she’s standing up for special needs children in public schools, defending the rights of homeschools or fighting against the mask mandates you’ll find her in the arena. Sherri deeply believes in America and liberty for all. She does all of this while serving the community as a nurse. In her free time, Sherri can be found along side her husband at the local range, playing with her beloved pups and spending quality time with her kids.
